Universal access and human rights

World AIDS Day 2009 celebrates the theme of universal access and human rights. The campaign's slogans are based on the theme of 'I am':

I am getting treatment
I am safe

The theme and slogans promote HIV and AIDS awareness through translating human rights ideals into understandable, practical and proactive terms.
