World Malaria Day 2014: Invest in the future. Defeat malaria.

A young boy smiles for the camera15 April 2014 – On the occasion of World Malaria Day, 25 April 2014, WHO is focusing on helping countries move towards malaria elimination. Since 2000, there has been a 42% reduction in the global malaria mortality rate and many countries have declared malaria elimination as a national goal.
