Electronic assessment tool for infection prevention and control

1 February 2012 – electronic Infection Prevention and Control Assessment software interface snaphote-IPCAT snapshotThe communicable disease surveillance, forecasting and response programme pilot tested the electronic Infection Prevention and Control Assessment Tool (e-IPCAT) in South Sudan and Sudan in January 2012.

This tool is designed to assist countries in the Region in assessing and monitoring their infection prevention and control programme in a systematic manner at the national and health facility level. The e-IPCAT will be rolled out in all countries in the Region as soon as it is piloted in two more countries.
