System for computer-assisted drug registration

Drug registration is one of the important issues requesting technical support. At training on the WHO model system for computer-assisted drug registration (SIAMED) was conducted from 11 to 14 November 2012. The training aimed at improving the efficiency of drug regulatory authorities to enable them to assure that marketing authorizations are consistent with their national drug policy. The objectives of the training were to:

assess the status of data entry, into SIAMED, accordingly organize advanced training sessions;

connect via intranet the pharmacy directory and its offices also pharmacy directory and medical supply organization;

develop new tasks under the SIAMED for the staff needed by the nationals.
