Donor and partners contributions made it possible for the WHO country office in Libya to develop its programmes within the country and provide the necessary technical support. During humanitarian emergencies, donor and partner contributions have mainly facilitated technical support and provision of medical supplies and coordination of services.

Donor countries and international organizations that are currently supporting the health sector development in Libya include AusAid, Brazil, Department For International Development (DFID), Islamic Relief, Norway, Russia, Spain, United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
