With the demand for state-of-the-art health facilities and Libya’s aim to improve its health facilities infrastructure, the Health Facilities Infrastructure conference provided a platform to discuss the latest innovations, trends and concepts in health facility infrastructure and design.
The conference was held in 18 April 2013. The WHO country office technical staff participated in the conference’s opening ceremony. A presentation was delivered on the mental health programme in Libya as a case study for Libyan initiatives to reform heath care programmes.
