In partnership with the Royal Scientific Society, WHO Jordan has implemented a health technology programme. The objectives of the programme are to assess norms and guidelines regarding the use of medical equipment. WHO believes that the use of technologies in health care is essential to its evolution.

The health technology programme has also begun to implement a number of campaigns regarding improved use of technologies in the health arena. Its main aim is to improve the knowledge and understanding of technologies by Jordan’s health care professionals to ensure appropriateness of care.
