Training of trainers on pharmaceutical situation assessment survey, 26-30 September 2011

The Regional Office in collaboration with the Directorate of Pharmacy and Drug Control in Qatar have conducted a four days trainer training course on the use of the pharmaceutical situation assessment survey tools. The training was held from 26 to 30 of September 2011 in Doha, Qatar. A total of 11 national officials from different countries in the Region including Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iraq participated in the training. The training objectives aimed at:

  • providing in depth understanding of the WHO operational package;
  • preparing participants to be trainers for data collector of pharmaceutical situation assessment survey, Level II questionnaire in the country;
  • discussing survey protocols (17 survey forms) that will be tested during the field visits in different health facilities (public, private pharmacies and medical warehouse).
