  • 2 new polio cases were reported in August from Paktika and Kabul provinces.
  • Cases of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic fever are on the rise and the risk of transmission further increases during Eid al-Adha in September. CCHF spreads mainly through ticks or contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected animal.
