A regional Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) managers' meeting will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco, from 16 to 18 September, 2012. The meeting will: review national and regional progress in the EPI, including achievements, constraints and the way forward; discuss recent advances in new vaccines and technologies, including progress, constraints and the challenges facing their use; and update the chairperson of the national immunization technical advisory group and members of the regional technical advisory group on progress and constraints facing the EPI and the expected role of the national immunization technical advisory group in supporting the programme.
