30 September 2010 – Ports, Airports and Ground Crossings Network (PAGnet) is a web-based network that brings together public health officials responsible for port health and key partners to coordinate public health activities at ports, airports and ground crossings, including preparedness for, and response to, health emergencies affecting international travel and transport.

PAGnet aims to contribute to protecting the health of populations and to the prevention, detection and control of international spread of disease and its agents through international travel and transport. The Network now has its own web site where you can learn more about their activities. The site is still in the pilot phase, and its full opening is expected within a year.
