A group of men and women from the Region The WHO regional AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases programme addresses acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

The programme supports Member States to strengthen their health sector response, develop national capacity and scale up all aspects of HIV/STI prevention, treatment and care.
