Information on the Second Intercountry Workshop on the Child Health Policy Initiative (CHPI) , held in Cairo, Egypt, from 13 to 16 November 2005, including the report, is available on-line. The report describes country experiences on, and lessons learnt from, the situation analysis phase of CHPI, summarizes the process proposed for the identification and prioritization of policy issues and provides information on the steps recommended for the development of the national child health policy document and suggestions on the key sections of the document itself. The report also includes the conclusions and recommendations made at the workshop.
