WHO supports control activities on cutaneous leishmaniasis by providing medicines, training and technical support for the elaboration of technical guidelines. It also provides technical support to the Ministry of Health in collecting and analysing epidemiological data.
WHO supports the leprosy programme by providing medicines to all patients in need, as well as through facilitating a proposal funded by The Nippon Foundation. The proposal is being implemented during 2011–2012.
