Aim
The aim of the programme is to establish a critical mass of public health leaders capable of addressing global, national and local health challenges.
Methods and approach
It will utilize non-traditional teaching methods and focus on competencies in: leadership and leading change; politics of well-being and political analysis; organizational dynamics and change management; team-building, negotiation and conflict resolution; and system-wide thinking and problem-solving for health system strengthening.
Participants
Participants for the programme will be public health professionals who have:
- prior training and qualification in public health;
- experience in responsible management and/or leadership positions in public health or health management;
- demonstrated capacity of high performance, e.g. in public health practice, training or research programmes.
- The LfH Programme strongly encourages the participation of women.
