The African Network for Drugs and Diagnostics Innovation (ANDI) held its fourth stakeholder meeting, and first since moving to Africa, in Addia Ababa, Ethiopia, 24–27 October 2011. It:

• celebrated and announced the final outcome of the call for ANDI Centres of Excellence in health innovation across Africa
• showcased African health research, development and manufacturing, as well as key partnerships and collaborative activities, through a series of plenary and breakout sessions
• offered participants an opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of Ethiopia through social activities.

Requests for proposals to host ANDI regional hubs are now being accepted.
