A one-week WHO mission to review elderly care services in primary health care institutions took place from 3 to 7 November 2012. Several years ago, the Ministry of Health initiated a programme for the elderly with the aim of developing age-friendly primary health care services. The expected outcome of the mission is to provide recommendations to strengthen these services.
