The Central Public Health Laboratory (CPHL) hosted a WHO regional training workshop on external quality assurance (EQA) from 15 to 19 March 2015. The aim was to training laboratory personnel participating in the regional EQA programme so that they could establish their own bacteriology EQA programme. This training is a part of CPHL efforts to provide EQA services to numerous countries in the region. A similar training was conducted in December 2013.
