The Health Vision 2050 being developed by the Ministry of Health of Oman is serving as a model for strategic planning in health. During the first half of 2014, WHO facilitated a series of missions to review key strategic studies carried out as part of the work for Health Vision 2050, including health technologies, nutrition, primary health care, and professional development. Each mission worked closely with the national team in reviewing the strategic study and providing recommendations to strengthen the strategic vision for each area.
