A one-week WHO mission was held from 3 to 7 November 2012 to review the status of blinding trachoma in Oman. Members of the mission met with key members of the National Eye Health Committee and reviewed the three-year post surveillance activities and explored the possibility of Oman being certified as blinding trachoma-free by WHO.
