More than 40 WHO regional staff gathered for the 3-day WHO Regional Polio Staff Meeting, which was held in Muscat from 1 to 3 September 2014. The aims of the meeting were to discuss ways to prevent outbreaks and stop transmission in the Region. The group of medical and public health professionals prioritized activities targeting high risk population in infected and at-risk countries.
