A professional certificate programme has been developed to achieve improved infectious disease diagnosis, surveillance, and control, and to improve patient care in the countries where programme graduates work. This nine-month professional certificate programme is delivered through two in-person meetings and a series of five distance-learning courses via an online learning management system to accommodate participants who are working professionals.
