Targeted coverage of providers at health facility

Both physicians and paramedical staff have been targeted for IMCI clinical training. The target health facility is the Primary Health Care facility, although health providers from emergency and outpatient departments of hospitals have also been trained.

Course duration

The duration of courses have changed over time, from 11-day courses at national level and 12-day courses during the early implementation phase, to 10-day courses during the expansion phase.

Materials

The adapted, Moroccan version of the IMCI clinical guidelines and training materials has been used for training.
