24 January 2022 – Dr Tasnim Atatrah, WHO Representative to Bahrain, was invited to share key WHO insight and recommendations on mental health in the workplace during the third Human Resources Development International Conference, hosted by the Bahrain Society for Training and Development.

Held under the patronage of H.E. Mr Jameel Bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Social Development, Dr Atatrah's opening presentation introduced a national audience of professionals, representing various industries, to regional, and global mental health indicators and insights into how to advance the realization of healthy workplace environments, towards better mental health for all. Healthy workplaces have a positive impact on organizational success, as well as employee health, professional fulfilment, and quality of life.
