Grants awarded by the WHO Regional Office for Research in Priority Areas of Public Health, 2020–2021: COVID-19 research

8 November 2020 – 14 research projects have been recommended for funding following a call for applications that aims to promote health research as a tool for national development programming, and to increase the use of evidence-based action and health planning for provision of equitable health care.  This special round of grants focuses on COVID-19 research in response to the current pandemic and its importance for all Member States in the Region.
