Strategy for cancer prevention and control in the Eastern Mediterranean Region 2009-2013 This regional strategy on cancer prevention and control was developed in close collaboration with Member States and aims to minimize the growing impact of cancer in the Region over the coming years (2009–2013). It provides a foundation for the development of a comprehensive coordinated national approach to cancer control that is resource-oriented.
