The International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) and the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) are holding a joint meeting from 23 to 24 September in Blankenberge, Belgium. 

Day 1 of the meeting is being organized by ISMTE but is open to everyone and Day 2 is being organized jointly by EASE and ISMTE. Each day has plenary lectures, parallel or break out sessions and a new innovation for both organizations – speed dating sessions. These have a work focus and will provide a chance for members to share skills and ask questions of experts in matters such as the use of software, technology or general best practice.
