WHO Lebanon Office has funded the accreditation of the continuing education centre “Institut National de Physiotherapie” (INP) of the Order of Physiotherapists in Lebanon (OPTL) by “QSI-Paris”. This action is part of the quality improvement activities being performed by the OPTL in order to improve the qualifications of the practising physiotherapists by enhancing their competencies and skills in the clinical area and in the areas of management, prevention and research as well.

The accreditation programme is a set of standards that takes into consideration all the aspects that concern the accreditation of all physiotherapy centres in Lebanon, including the application of the Ministry of Public Health standards.

The accreditation covers physiotherapist performance through an educational programme and safety practices.
