In 2021, the theme of World Hepatitis Day is ‘Hepatitis Can’t Wait’ and WHO is collaborating with the World Hepatitis Alliance, an international nongovernmental organization, to target government leaders, policy-makers, national health programmes and community organizations and representatives to raise awareness of hepatitis and highlight the urgency of eliminating hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.

The slogan of this year’s campaign is “Hepatitis medicines are cheaper now. Treat to save lives”.
