WHO is developing a series of products related to COVID-19, which include:
NEDtP case studies that showcase how evidence has been used to support the COVID-19 response in a number of countries and provide valuable guidance for all countries in sharing success stories and lessons learnt. Case studies are currently being developed in Afghanistan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan and Syria.
Supporting studies on COVID-19-related medication safety and review of national treatment protocols.
COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness studies that will allow estimation of the effectiveness of vaccines in the field, as compared with the reported efficacy from trials. Vaccine effectiveness studies are currently being developed in Pakistan.
