on Wednesdays at 21:15 GMT (23:15 Cairo Time).

Sheikh, Regional Adviser, Human Resources Development,
World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean
will take place on Mnara Scientific Channel, Nile Sat. The interview
will be on 6 April 2006 20:45 GMT (22:45 Cairo Time), and will be repeated on 7 April at
14:45 GMT (16:45
Cairo Time).

A videoconference will be organized by the Ministry
of Education, national network for training, on 6 April 2006.

Many days will be allocated to discuss the health
programmes under the World Health Day slogan “Working together for
health”

The Egyptian syndicate for physicians is organizing
a 2-day conference under the title “Medicine: education and
profession”, which will also be the theme of Egyptian Physician’s
Day.

The Assuit Student Scientific Association will hold
a seminar under the title Working together for health. A bookstand
will be set up outside the seminar displaying the World Health Day
material.
The seminar will be held in Assuit University on 10 April 2006.

This year’s World Health Day which focuses on the global theme of
“Working Together for Health” was officially celebrated in Iran on 9
April 2006. The opening ceremony was attended by H. E. Dr A. Davoudi,
the First Vice President of I.R. Iran, H.E. Dr Kamran Lankarani,
Minister of Health and Medical Education, H.E. Mr. Farshidi, Minister of
Education, H.E. Dr Omidvar Rezaie, Head of Health Commission in the
Parliament, H.E. Mr Kazemi, Minister of Welfare and Social Security, H.E.
Sardar Hejazi, the Commander of Basij Forces, Mr Nayeri, Head of Imdad
Committee Relief Organization, Chancellors of Universities of Medical
Sciences, Head of Police, Journalists, Media ad other high level
authorities who have had an active role in Health Affairs.
