WHO employs a mix of both regular staff to provide institutional knowledge and
continuity, and short-term staff including consultants to provide expertise
not available in house and to respond to the rapidly changing needs of the
Organization's technical programmes. Due to the large number of inquiries
received, WHO is not able to acknowledge receipt of applications or to
respond to queries received regarding information already provided on the
Web site.
