Tobacco free sports

Award

Every year, the World Health Organization (WHO) hands out an award to the key person that has helped make the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), its theme and its celebration a great success. This award is a sentiment of appreciation on behalf of WHO to the great effort and time that that person has invested in the campaign. This year, the WNTD award has been given to Mr Mahmoud El-Khatib, ex-Egyptian footballer and Mr Imran Khan, ex-Pakistani cricketer to thank them for their invaluable and generous contributions to the Tobacco Free Sports campaign.
