I Am Stopping TB
 This slogan for the day this year is
"I Am Stopping TB". The slogan is
reflecting the reality that every one of us; the
health leaders, the health workers, the
patients, the family, and the community members
has a role to do to stop TB.
Stop TB unit in in the Regional Office is
planning this year to launch the Regional STOP
TB partnership aiming at gathering the efforts
of all partners in the region to participate in
stopping TB.

“The World TB Day 2008 Poster signifies the Launch
of Eastern Mediterranean Stop TB Partnership in 2008
and draws inspiration from the 2008 campaign theme
“I Am Stopping TB” by Stop TB
Partnership, a voice of 22 countries reiterating
commitment to one mission.
The Poster is available in Downloadable form, you
can choose from Low or High Resolution, send it to a
good printing machine and get as many copies as you
like. Limited hard copies are on their way to all
National Programmes, Ministries and related
organizations”.

The WHO Regional Office for the Eastern
Mediterranean is pleased to announce a competition for
the best media work addressing tuberculosis in countries
of the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

Regional Stop TB Partnership
Tuberculosis
(TB) is a major public health problem in countries of
the Eastern Mediterranean Region and there is a growing
need for a wider partnership to Stop TB at both the
regional and the country level.
The WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean
together with the countries of the Region is pleased to
announce the establishment of a regional web page
for the Regional STOP TB partnership.
