"The way forward"
Our
goal is to cut in halve the number of cases and
deaths from tuberculosis. We will strive to
eliminate tuberculosis in the lifetime of the first
child born in this millennium. We must achieve these
targets in order to play our role in the global
efforts to reverse the expansion of this preventable
and curable disease.
