A one-week WHO mission from 8 to 12 September 2012 provided technical support to the Ministry of Health of Oman on the implementation of a public–private mix within the tuberculosis (TB) control strategy. The mission team reviewed current TB care and control activities by both the public and private sector and developing a public–private mix strategy for TB control in Oman, including mechanisms for coordination and collaboration.
