Framework for country action against cancer

Concurrent with the finalization process of the regional cancer strategy, the noncommunicable diseases unit prepared a draft framework for country action against cancer. The draft was reviewed and finalized in an expert meeting which took place in the Regional Office from 30 April to 1 May 2008. The purpose of the framework is to assist countries in developing/updating their national cancer control plans.
