A. Activities before 7th of April 2001:

1. Mass Media campaign will be starting on 1st April 2001 Arabic/English Radio and TV Programmes.

2. Ceremony and Workshop to release an Education Booklet on Mental Health specifically made on the occasion and Orientation of Health educators to use the book with the public.

3. Newspaper articles and interviews with Senior Mental Health consultants and Health experts in the country.

B. Activities on the 7th April 2001 and after:

1. National ceremony on 7th April under auspices of H.E. Dr Ali Bin Mohammed Bin Moosa, Minister of Health and other dignitaries.

2. Mental Health Education theatre event (play) to be performed in Muscat and other Regions.

3. Continuation of Media campaign including prime times presentation and interview involving WR, Oman and National experts.
