Learning outcomes

On the completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Estimate the level of individual and professional potential currently being utilized in the work setting;

• Identify activities that will further develop leadership based upon maximizing individual and organizational potential;

• Describe ideal leadership characteristics and behavior styles needed to lead in a continuously changing environment;

• Assess personal styles of leadership, communication and conflict  resolution;

• Develop a personal/professional plan based on information obtained from the assessment instruments and activities in this unit;

• Build, empower and motivate teams;

• Recognize the shifting of leadership within groups;

• Model individual and team leadership behaviors that reflect the values and concepts of the MEP.
