Organizations that provide health care, like any other organization, must develop robust administrative and financial processes and structures to provide effective services. This module covers the essential skills that make up the field of Finance and Administration: Planning, cost estimation, budgeting, project identification and risk management, and control in organizations.
Rationale
Before strengthening management capabilities, certain administrative and financial processes need to be in place for effective functioning of organizations. This module lays the basis for the future goal of strengthening management functions that will rely on the keys elements such as financial and administrative processes.
Aims
The primary aim of the module is to ensure that participants are able to perform the planning, leading, organizing, and controlling functions needed to manage services and programs effectively.
