UNRWA values its strategic partnership with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and accordingly, is keen to work with PRCS to continue to enhance the quality provided in their hospitals and broaden the range of PRCS services to enhance the health coverage provided to Palestine Refugees in Lebanon and subsequently will improve the health situation for Palestinians in Lebanon and mitigate, where possible increasing the costs to UNRWA and the co-payment made by Palestinian refugees for secondary and tertiary care.

UNRWA and PRCS are therefore seeking the services of an evaluation team to carry out a joint and comprehensive assessment on the quality of services and range of care provided by PRCS five hospitals; the aim being to evaluate the hospitals’ compliance to national and/or international quality standards in an attempt to promote continuous quality improvement and access to services in PRCS hospitals while also establishing a solid quality culture revolving around patients’ needs and safety.

The deadline for tenders has been extended until 11 September 2017 at 12:00.
