EMROPHARM forum

EMROPHARM forum for pharmaceutical societies and syndicates of countries of the Eastern Mediterranean Region was established during a regional conference jointly organized by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

The main aims of the Forum are to promote the professional public health role of the community pharmacist through participation in campaigns on a variety of health issues of general interest and concern.  These issues include smoking cessation, diabetes, hypertension and others.

Campaigns are designed in close cooperation with the Regional Office, which enables WHO to effectively use this important  new channel to share public health messages with the general public.
