The WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean works with global, regional and country-based organizations to improve the health status of the regional population. 

Partners include leading international and national nongovernmental organizations, United Nations specialized agencies, governments and bilateral organizations. 

Building strategic partnerships is one of the Regional Office‘s main priorities, and one of the crucial elements in achieving better health in the Region.
