Health system development and recovery - Course

In the context of building the capacity of private and public health organization, WHO in collaboration with the Lebanese university public health school has organized two identical courses on the health system development and recovery post conflict. The objectives of the course are to enable the participants to:



1. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Health Care system of Lebanon

2. Be able to use the basic concepts and tools of Planning

3. Demonstrate an effective understanding of the principles of health system recovery

4. Prepare proposed interventions of their organization for HS recovery



55 participants from hospitals, primary health care centers, NGOs have attended the course and have submitted a proposal at the end of the course describing their plan of preparedness for their respective health institute during emergency.



The Lebanese university has assured the necessary funds and WHO has recruited the lecturers and has prepared all the technical necessary material.
