The World Health Organization (WHO) in support of the Ministry of Public Health Primary Health Care Network
implemented nationally a series of six workshops to help provide needed communication skills to Primary
Health Care workers. The workshops’ goal was to help build the capacities of primary health care professionals
on communication skills in order to enable them to better deliver quality health messages to the communities.

Six workshops were implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and 142 participants attended.

The participants consisted mostly of medical-nursing care professionals, 65%, and available social care and health
