Digital health and innovation

Regional Health Observatory

The use of digital health provides opportunities to accelerate progress towards achievement of the health-related targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3, and achieving the triple billion targets for 2023, as articulated in "WHO's Thirteenth General Programme of Work" and regional "Vision 2023" document.

The use and scale up of digital health solutions can revolutionize how people, globally and regionally achieve higher standards of health and access services to promote and protect their health and well-being.

WHO's regional digital health and innovation programme provides technical support to Member States to develop and implement national digital health strategies to enhance interoperability between different systems and between countries of the Region.
