Regional and country profiles 
Both
regional and country-specific profiles
contain HRH data pertaining to the total
number and density rates per 1000 population
of the health workforce categories used by
countries of the Eastern Mediterranean
Region. This HRH-focused data can be found in
the following links:
This information is
divided into two main categories, including
country-specific via the country profile and
regional display for all 22 countries of the
Eastern Mediterranean Region via
regional profiles.
The data represent
the latest available year. All tables and
charts are dynamic in the regional HRH
observatory.
The HRH tools
provided here
were developed by WHO headquarters in Geneva
and were successfully used in some countries.
Templates have been
developed to enable national HRH departments
to improve databases for HRH at a
global and national level. Countries
are requested to provide their information
and updates through filling these Excel
sheets and return them to
emrhrhobs@emro.who.int .
The population estimates were taken from
the publication
Demographic, social and health
indicators for countries of the Eastern Mediterranean
and from country reports.
